DistributionThe species is widespread but scattered over northern England, Wales and Scotland. It is an alpine species in Europe.
Habitat and ecology
L. pinicola occurs on high ground, often among loose stones. It is adult in summer and autumn.
Status
The spider is very local and never numerous.
